Aunt Emily came over again last night. It usually means something I am not going to like is going to happen to me. After my "life altering" surgery last fall, she tried to wrap my abdomen in an old sweat pant leg to keep me from licking it. This time it was nail clipping. She held me down while Mom clipped the few nails I have left. I was not happy. Aunt Emily scares me. Do you see the picture of my cousin Toby? Does he look happy? Why is he all wet? What was she doing to him!!?? And I heard she sticks a needle in my new cousin Ginger's back everyday and makes her sit there while fluids rush in. What is that about!? Who let this woman have cats??
Toby secretly loves all this attention. If he shows you how much he loves his baths and getting snuggled like a doll you might request some personal time from his mom and he will get less attention. Can't you see how the left corner of his mouth is turning upward? He is holding back a smile.

ReplyDeleteIve heard on the street that Emily isnt too bad. I wouldnt believe all the stuff you hear about her. Did you know she gives ginger the meds to help her stay alive!! I also heard she only gives toby baths because he has such bad hairballs. And auggie if she let you lick your wound you probably would have gotten a bad infection. Ive learned recently you cant believe everything you hear.
